Luis Ivan Ruiz

Luis Ivan Ruiz, born in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico on March 28, 1977. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering at the Tecnologico de Orizaba 1999. He received a scholarship working as “Technological Research Training” (AIT) at the Electrical Research Institute (IIE) in the Simulation Management of from 1999 to 2000. In 2001 he joined the Electrical Equipment Management at IIE, since then has collaborate on projects related to the analysis and design of industrial electric power systems, and computer systems design to technical specifications of electrical equipment and electric power systems for state enterprises. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 articles in national and international publications. He has been a speaker at over 155 international conferences. He has taught over 1,700 engineers in more than 10 countries assisted with software analysis on PES. Up to date he has 13 copyright in the software categories and literary work. He was the Chairman of the IEEE Technical Activities in Region 9 Latin America (2010-2011). He received the “Achievement Award 2011” by the IEEE MGA for his contribution to promote awareness to the countries of Latin America and “Distinguished Engineer 2013 from IEEE Bolivia Section” for his contribution to promoting research and technological development in this country for five years.
